The founder member of Forefront Image, Thomas D. Timms started his career at the Rochdale College of Art, Bangor University and finally at the Ruskin School of Drawing and of Fine Art Oxford.

He then went on to lecture in Art at the Bangor Technical College, Pencraig College Llangefni and Bangor University Extra Mural Department.

Thomas has also contributed work to some of the most prestigious photo stock libraries such as Survival Anglia, Oxford Scientific Films, WWF, UPPA etc and has been published by, to name a few, ITV Schools, Marshall Cavendish, Heinemenn, Citron AA, AA Pitkin, St Michaels, Kingfisher, Octopus, Ted Smart and BTA.

Even though most of his work over the years has been reproduced in books, magazines and brochures he has entered the digital age and supplied photo's for such people as Coral CD.
