Penny Mac is an experienced and highly talented vocalist and instrumentalist specializing in Violin and flute, who is happy to perform any and all styles of music that you may request. Whether playing and performing at weddings, birthday parties, private events, on yachts, in front of royalty, Charity do's, or exclusive restaurant and hotel gigs, here and overseas, Penny brings her unique sound, professional attitude, and shining talent to your event.

Penny prides herself on keeping up-to-date with all the latest sounds, and always includes current and modern chart hits in her playlist - keeping the younger audiences happy while still performing at a volume the more mature can handle! Penny is passionate about music, and has studied, travelled and performed extensively, following her heart and her passion. She has extensive experience, performing solo, with bands, and in Ochestras. 

Penny will work with you to plan a set list that includes all the songs you love to hear, and will work on organizing the perfect musical selections to personalize your event. For example, she could start off singing slower, easy listening ballads and songs for the cocktail hour and then move onto all the party and dance hits for the reception!

About Penny:

A graduate of the Leeds College of Music (jazz & contemporary music), Penny has worked in London for most of her professional career, although she has been fortunate enough to perform all over the world!

Penny has been the lead vocalist with function bands in top London venues including The Savoy, The Dorchester, Browns Hotel, Claridges, The Grosvenor, and Kensington Roof Top Gardens.

Some more unusual venues have been the Natural History museum (actually singing I Will Always Love You to the Tyrannosaurus Rex!) Madame Tussards, Blackpool Tower Ballroom, London Zoo, Brocket Hall, Woburn Abbey, Science Museum and Imperial War Museum.

Penny has been a guest vocalist with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra and the Syd Lawrence Orchestra and was lead vocalist with the String of Pearls Orchestra for several years. Overseas Penny has worked in international 5 Star hotels in the Middle East, Morocco, Oman, Japan and The Maldives and on cruise liners (P& O's Oriana and P& O's Aurora including all the maiden voyages).

She also co-writes and records with several different music producers for house labels such as Subliminal & Defected. She has her own music out on iTunes/ Amazon.

With regards to gigs, Penny can cater to the whole event - from Traditional ceremonies, Jazzy appetizers, easy background formal dinners, lively dances, elegant receptions and even providing DJ services! She is a professional, versatile, reliable and highly experienced performer.

Penny currently performs with 'Three cool chicks & one funky guy', an international bandprised of a Brit, (Penny) A Frenchwoman, (Brigitte) A French Caribbean (Stecie) and Claudio an Italian. All four are musicians in their own right whoe together to perform in the South of France.
