Our parties are inspirational, educational and great fun for both young & old. All our animals are treasured pets for life and will give you and your child an unforgettable experience! About Us Animal Magic Pony Parties Ltd is situated in a small Oxfordshire village called East Hagbourne and we pride ourselves as being one of the best companies of its kind in the market place today. Our standards of animal care is very high all our animals have their own 'bedroom' to come into at night and all receive regular veterinary treatment and inoculations as required. The animals and reptiles are all our pets and are handled and trained on a daily basis by not only adults but young children also. At present our eldest daughter Jasmine (five years old) has taken it upon herself to tame and train our new arrivals, two baby reindeer, she is progressing faster than we can with these young animals. Our approach is quite unique in that we have children to assist us with the daily running and handling of these animals to insure that they are ready to meet the children at the parties we attend. Sarah Crane (Director) has been involved with animals all her life and is a qualified human and animal chiropractor. Sarah's' love of animals has led her to set up 'Animal Magic Pony Parties' so that she can share her love and experience of these animals to both children and adults alike. Sarah has extensive knowledge and experience regarding the animals she keeps and cares for having travelled the world and observed them in their own habitat. She is also an experienced scuba diver (travelled the circumference of Australia) and has had the honour of diving with not only sharks but also the largest shark in the world the 'Whale Shark'! Having travelled the circumference of Australia Sarah does not mind travelling to anywhere in the UK as long distances do not faze her. Jasmine and Sophie are Sarah's daughters aged 4 & 5 years of age. They are both very active in the care of the animals by riding the ponies and handling them all from 'Rosie' the tarantula, Sami the snake to 'Tinkerbelle' and 'Snowflake' the baby reindeer. They are very lucky little girls. 'Robert' is 'Sarah's long suffering husband (also an experienced diver) who is very supportive and pro-active in the care and maintenance of all the 'animals bedrooms' and buildings. He has a great sense of humour and sometimes accompanies Sarah to the parties or corporate functions to assist when required. Party Selection Fluffies & Reptiles Ideal for the indoor venue. We will bring a selection of rabbits, guinea pigs, ducklings, ducks, chicks, mice, chickens, lamb, goats and a chinchilla to your party for all the children to cuddle, race, groom and play with. Two handlers included. Bugs Parties Ideal for the child who loves creepy crawlies and reptiles! We will bring a selection of toads, giant African bull frog (can jump over 3 ½ metres), giant African snails, giant African millipedes, turtles, snakes (5ft corn snake Sami) Zippy the baby snake, spiders, lizards, tortoise, scorpions (not to hold), stick insects, worms and crickets to your venue! Two handlers included. Ponies to ride We will bring a pony or ponies to your party for the children to ride, groom and play with. Two handlers included. All children must wear the hats provided.
Prices start for one pony for two hours £250.00 two handlers. Standard mixed Pony parties This party is very popular we will bring 1 pony to ride, 3 goats to feed and race, bunnies, chickens, guinea pigs, ducks, chinchilla, tortoise, snake, tarantula, bearded dragon for 1 ½ to two hours for the children to play with. Two handlers included.
Prices start at £295.00. Cinderella Carriage and Unicorn! Every little girls dream come true. We will bring a Cinderella carriage pulled by our pony, complete with two footmen/mice for your child and three of their friends to arrive at the party. Then all the children will have a chance to ride in the carriage. Once that has been completed we will bring out our unicorn for the children to all have a ride on and throw magic dust over to make a wish! A real fairy tale party. Harry Potter Party For all the budding witches and wizards this is a must. We will bring a unicorn to ride, a real owl to pet, a snake and tarantula to hold, a giant bull frog to cuddle, mice to race! Games to play complete with two handlers. Animals Available Let me introduce you to: Popcorn Our famous miniature shetland pony that has not only appeared on television, but is portrayed on the adverts for 'Harry Hills' shows. At only 32 inches high he is a favourite with all the children who meet and ride him and is regularly requested to attend parties. Aaron Also a miniature shetland pony who stands a 29 inches high! He is very sweet natured and tolerant. Aaron has been dressed up in Cinderella clothes and has had his mane and tail in many different styles! Great for the little ones to ride and play with, (in summer his colour changes from nearly black to blue!) Pippin An 11.2 hh bay welsh mountain pony that pulls our Sleigh and Cinderella carriage. Pippin loves to be wrestled with he sees this as affection and is a lovely pony both to drive and ride. He definitely has a sense of humour which is very appealing to all that meet him. Tubbs A very pretty 12.2 hh grey welsh mountain pony who loves to please. He loves the attention and can not get enough. He is our 'Unicorn' for the Cinderella parties. Tubbs is loved by one and all. Shamus A stunning 13.2 hh chestnut welsh mountain cross pony. Great with older children he is reliable kind and again a complete softy. Shamus has been taught to bow for you and loves to show off. Shamus is the pony every little girl would like to own. Dotty She is our youngest African Pygmy Goat. She arrived totally wild and spent 5 months with us in the house, cuddling up on the sofa at night or running up and down the stairs playing with Jasmine & Sophie. She is a delight to own and we love her dearly. (Dotty wins most of the goat races). Charlie Our male goat a real character who bosses everyone around (in the nicest possible way). Charlie has learnt how to use a slide and loves to show off. Charlie is the strongest, but the slowest in our goat races. Teeney A shy unassuming little girl goat who makes her protest known in the races by throwing herself to the ground and refusing to move, very comical! Toffee Our newest arrival she is a very pretty tame little goat who desperately wants your attention and loves to be cuddled. Her ability in the goat racing is yet to be established! Snowflake Our first baby reindeer, she resembles a cartoon character, with very big soft brown eyes, that are always wide open and expectant. She is becoming very tame now and is in training to pull Father Christmas's sleigh. She is whiter than snow and a really pretty little girl of 7 months. Tinkerbelle Our second baby reindeer, she is also very pretty and extremely inquisitive you will find her in the feed room most days, she loves her food. Tinkerbelle is also in training to pull Father Christmas's sleigh. Sami Sami the 5 ft corn snake is very popular at parties. He is very docile and gentle and loves to slither over Jasmine and Sophie's backs (a new form of massage they have designed) I am told it is very therapeutic! Rosi A Chilean Rose tarantula, a great talking point for any party. The children love to hold her and so do the adults (but only when the children have first!). Rosi is great for children and adults to overcome their fear of spiders and this is achieved by at least one person at every party she attends. Spike Is a bearded dragon he loves to sit on your shoulder and cuddle up to you, he is very loveable and many parents have gone on to purchase one as a pet for their children after he has attended their party. Within our menagerie we also have many rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, mice, giant African land snails, giant African millipedes, turtles, tortoise and zippy the baby snake. We will also soon be adding a baby wallaby to our pets!
New animals available - De-scented Skunks Penny & Pepe, Giant Continental Rabbits with their babies - Nibbles & Dillon, Chameleons - Charlie & Charlotte Corporate Events, School Visits, Fetes & Fun Days Corporate Events Animal Magic Pony Parties can attend your open days, fun days with an array of animals to entertain the children and adults alike. We can offer up to five ponies for a single event for the children to pet and ride, a goat mountain which has up to eight African pygmy goats in a pen with straw bales, for the children to enter, feed and play with the goats, a petting zoo which incorporates wallaby (subject to availability), rabbits, guinea pigs, tortoise, chickens and ducks and baby lambs. We can also offer a reptile petting zoo which includes snakes, lizards, tarantulas, giant African bullfrogs, scorpions (not to hold), giant African snails, giant African millipedes, blue tongued lizards and much more. We do also have a baby crocodile for very special occasions. Our crocodile does have its mouth taped up for this event!!! For the really adventurous company a seven foot alligator and 8ft albino pythons can be arranged also for exhibition and educational work. We carry out a risk assessment for each venue and are fully insured. All our animals (apart from the ponies) come with their own penned enclosures and competent staff to insure the safety of your guests. All pony riders have to wear a riding hat supplied by us. We also have a sister company who can attend a function with us to increase the volume of animals should you wish to have more ponies to ride, goats, etc. For Christmas we have a real Norwegian sleigh pulled by our pony with Father Christmas on board, Elves and Mrs Santa (sleigh rides can also be included). We do also have real reindeer that can be brought to your venue and penned for the public to feed and stroke complete with Father Christmas, elves and Mrs Santa. The packages available are versatile and varied and can be tailored to suit your requirements. This is a great way to show your staff how much you appreciate them by giving their families an opportunity to experience these animals first hand. The faces of the children are priceless and magical! Fetes & Fun Days These are great fun, the children love to see the animals and the pony rides are a must and very, very popular. Should you wish to re-coup your booking fee, we can charge for the pony rides and if you require a goat mountain the entrance can also be charged for. We supply the food for the children to take in and the profits made are yours. We can offer the same animals and service as for the corporate events. Weddings For the perfect summer wedding why not have us come to your reception and bring all our animals for your guests to enjoy. We can bring a pony for the children to ride, goats to race and lots of fluffy animals to cuddle and reptiles to hold, we can provide something for everybody. For a special touch we can bring along two white doves in a basket with confetti for the bride and groom to release either after the ceremony or at any time during the reception. This is for prosperity, good luck and a happy life together. If you have children under the age of eight as your bridesmaids or page boys we can bring our Cinderella carriage to deliver them to and from the church (maximum children in the carriage is four at any one time). The carriage comes complete with pony and two footmen (or foot- ladies). This really is magical and very special particularly for the children and bride and groom - a great photo opportunity. All children under the age of eight years old can then have a ride in the Cinderella carriage to avoid anyone feeling left out as so often occurs at weddings!
