Can we legally get married in a foreign country and have it recognized?
Recently, a lot of more couples have decided to have destination weddings or to marry in a different country. Although it is totally doable, there are a few more steps involved. Once you choose the country make sure to contact their embassy and ask them what documents you will need, if you need to take any medical tests, and anything else you need to do in order to make your marriage legal in your home country.
